Our History
Welcome to A & J Quality Roofing. Many people ask what or who is A & J Quality Roofing. It began officially in 1956 by brothers Alex & Jim Erisoty. Hence the name A & J. When Jim came home from the service in 1955 he went to work with brother Alex who was employed with a local roofer. It wasn't too long before Jim was promoted to a foreman and then began to feel he could strike out on his own. So Jim began to knock on doors and sign up Jobs. After signing up 3 jobs within the first week he formed
A & J Quality Roofing and the rest is history. Son Gregory worked with his father Jim & Uncle Alex in the summers through High School 1975 until Graduating College in 1983. Gregory became a Marketing Professional for several years in Connecticut working with many notable companies such as Waring Products, Armstrong-Pirrelli Tire, Danaher Corporation and Stanley Tools. In 2000 Gregory decided to take over the Family business. Soon enough Gregory's son James continued the same path and worked during the summer while in High School & College. After graduating from Uconn in 2014 James decided to join the business. Therefore, propelling A &J Quality roofing 3 Generations Strong in the roofing & contracting business. Specializing in most all types of roofing , Asphant, Metal & Rubber. A & J Quality Roofing also installs seamless gutters, conducts extensive carpentry repairs, professionally removes snow & Ice dams, supplies professional reports for real estate transactions & insurance claims as well as handling Emergency Calls.
